Taylor Vorel, SLP bio
Taylor Vorel was born and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Taylor served pediatric, adult and geriatric populations at the
Midwestern University Speech-Language Institute. She was a speech-language pathology intern for a phonological preschool program which provided speech therapy services in the areas of articulation and phonology. Her full-time clinical internship involved providing individual and group therapy to middle school students and serving an elementary multi-needs classroom. Taylor provided teletherapy services for pediatric and adult clients through Midwestern University Speech-Language Institute during the Covid-19 pandemic shutdowns. Prior to working at In2Great, Taylor worked within the public school setting providing speech therapy services to elementary students both remotely and in-person. Taylor’s passion is working with the pediatric population. She believes in building a positive rapport and relationship with
the children she serves and their families. She also believes in the value of working as a part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. She enjoys creating interactive, engaging, multi-sensory activities. She likes discovering children’s strengths, and building upon them. One of her favorite things about being
a speech-language pathologist is witnessing children learn and grow every day. When Taylor is not at In2Great, you will find her spending time with her family and friends, taking Zumba or Dance Jam classes, exercising at the gym, shopping, or enjoying any outdoor activities and adventures.
