Gwen Reily, M.A., CCC-SLP/L 


Gwen is a licensed Speech and Language pathologist, who works primarily with

children and adolescents with autistic spectrum and related disorders. She utilizes a developmental language approach. She has been in private practice since 2000 and worked in a school setting prior to that. Apart from working with children in home based and clinic based therapeutic settings, Gwen also works part time at Soaring Eagle Academy, a private school for children with special needs, that uses a development language intervention and incorporate the DIR

(Developmental Individual/Difference Relationship based) model into its 

academic programming. 

Gwen received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech and Language 

Pathology from Northern Illinois University.  Gwen has specialized training in 

P.R.O.M.P.T, Therapeutic Listening and Bone Conduction, Berard Auditory 

Integration Training, Interactive Metronome, Lindamood Bell Visualizing and 

Verbalizing. She is currently working towards her Fellows Certificate in DIR 

through the Profectum Foundation Institute. Gwen is the mother of two amazing daughters and contributes most of her learning of language development through the experiences and interactions as a parent.
