Jenn Shepard, SLP
Jennifer is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Elmhurst College. During her clinical internship, she worked in an elementary school and provided speech therapy to students in the general education setting as well as three ASD instructional classrooms.
In addition to working at In2Great, she started her career working at an Elementary School where she gained invaluable experience working with children in grades K-6. Within the school setting, she has treated children with autism and other special needs who receive their education in a self-contained classroom at both the elementary and junior high level. In the self-contained classroom settings, Jennifer co-treats with classroom teachers, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and assistive technology staff. She also has the opportunity to work with children in the general education population who receive services to address speech and language disorders. Some of these speech and language disorders include, but are not limited to: articulation/phonological disorders, language processing, social/pragmatic language, and fluency.
During her free time she enjoys reading, playing video games, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
