Karina Ayrapetyan, OT
My name is Karina Ayrapetyan and I am a licenced occupational therapist with a passion for pediatrics. I have always loved working with kids ever since I could remember, and so to be able to work with kids for a career and help them grow into happy and confident beings is the most rewarding thing ever for me. I believe every child has unique strengths and skills which are often times not yet discovered, and I enjoy tapping into those strengths and using them as an advantage in therapy. While reaching goals is very important in therapy, it is my goal to ensure kids feel happy, empowered, and confident during the process. For that reason, I like to celebrate every accomplishment, big or small! I use a child-led and play-based approach to therapy because I believe that therapy should be a fun experience and something kids look forward to! I have experience working with children of various ages and therapy goals, including but not limited to sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor, gross motor, and executive functioning goals. I look forward to joining the In2Great team and continue working with children and their families to help the kiddos reach their highest potential. When I am not at In2Great, I enjoy playing with my dog, cooking, dancing, spending time with my family and friends, and my favorite thing of all...eating yummy foods! During the warmer months, I enjoy being outside swimming or hiking. In the winter, I like to go sledding or snowboarding, but most of the time I like to stay warm and cozy indoors and snuggle up with a good movie or show!
