Kelly Kraus, LCSW


Kelly received her Bachelor of Social Work from Illinois State University and her Master of Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago.  She has worked with children and families for over 15 years.  Kelly has experience in early intervention and the school setting.  She has had the opportunity to work with children/adolescents with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression, among others.  In addition, Kelly has facilitated social skills groups and parent support groups. 

Her goal is to create a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment to foster empowerment and progress.  Kelly uses a collaborative and strength-based approach in her practice and incorporates cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and play therapy techniques.  She is passionate about supporting children and their families and strives to promote personal growth, healing and meaningful connections with others.    

Kelly lives in Palatine with her husband and two young boys.
