Norah Springgate, PT, C/NDT
Norah has spent the last 28 years working in various pediatric settings, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. While her husband was stationed in Germany, she was employed by the military in their Exceptional Family Member Department working in multiple schools and an outpatient setting and was also part of the development of the Early Intervention program. Upon returning to the States, Norah worked for Easter Seals in the schools and clinic, and staffed their Hippotherapy program. In her time there, she also collaborated with orthotists and a local orthopedic surgeon to start a free orthopedic clinic. She then went on to develop the Hippotherapy program at Trinity Services in Joliet. Seeking to return to a more clinical setting, Norah went to work at Milestones for Kids’ Success in Downers Grove where she was a senior physical therapist involved in clinic development, mentoring, and early intervention, and collaborated to present a continuing education course on The ABCs of Dyspraxia. While working at Milestones, Norah completed her pediatric NDT certification. With a move to the south suburbs, Norah then worked for Children’ s Therapy Services in Frankfort, IL where she focused her attention on treating neuromotor and sensory disorders in children ages 0-15 years. Over the past year, Norah has been an independent contractor teaming with a speech therapy practice to develop a physical therapy portion to their services.
