Nori Spiro, LCSW


Nori Spiro is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work with a speciality in school social work. Nori has been employed in an elementary school setting for 24 years and values the opportunity to work with children and families towards shared goals. As a school social worker, she has extensive experience working with youth to develop and enhance their social skills and coping strategies. Nori is experienced in special education evaluations as well as IEP/504 Plan creation and implementation. Within the multidisciplinary educational setting, Nori understands the necessity of collaborating with other professionals to support children’s success and growth. She works to develop a supportive and nurturing environment in which to establish a meaningful, therapeutic relationship. Nori focuses on assessing children and their families to identify areas of strengths on which to build. She is an engaged and empathetic professional who strives to create an environment that encourages resiliency and self confidence in her clients. Nori lives in the northwest suburbs with her two college aged sons and husband.
